Arma Reforger · Combined arms milsim
STEP INTO
THE UNKNOWN.
One Task Force. One continuous campaign.
A place for you in the next operation.
A campaign worth
coming back to.
Task Force Kraken is a structured Arma Reforger unit with a real chain of command, written doctrine, and a permanent record of what happens. It has been running continuously since January 2023.
One continuous campaign
Operations are not standalone missions. They run inside a campaign with a persistent enemy, a real map, and consequences that carry from one week to the next. What your element does on a Sunday changes what the Task Force faces the Sunday after.
Structure that means something
Four branches and a billet for every member. Rank is earned against written criteria, awards are recommended by the people you serve with, and both are recorded in a service record that follows you.
Taught, not gatekept
Every qualification the unit awards is run in house, free, and open to anyone who turns up. Airborne, HALO, Pathfinder, Assault Diver Course, RTO, the infantry officer course, combat medic and the full aviation pathway. Aviation, the most gatekept role in most units, is advertised to new members rather than reserved for veterans.
Different strengths.
One Task Force.
Every member belongs to one branch and one element inside it. You are not assigned at random: you pick, and you can transfer once you know what you actually enjoy.

- Spearhead, combat control
- Staff sections, S-1 through S-8
The next chapter
starts at 1700.
The main campaign operation is Sunday evening. Brief and load in at 5:00 PM Eastern, execution at 6:00 PM Eastern. You arrive knowing the mission, because the order is published before the night, not read out on the night.
The order is published
A written operation order goes out ahead of the night: the situation, the mission, your element's task and the plan. It is written to be read on a phone during the week.
Brief and formation
The Task Force forms up, the commander briefs intent and the intelligence picture is given. Element leaders take their people and confirm the plan.
The operation
A live game master runs the opposition and the world reacts. Nothing is on rails. Objectives are taken, missed, or turn into something nobody planned for.
Debrief and record
What happened is reviewed and written down. Attendance, awards and what the campaign learned all enter the record, and the next order is built on it.
Serious about the mission.
Good to our people.
These are not slogans. They are the rules the unit has actually held to since it was founded, through four changes of leadership.
Real life comes first
Every commander this unit has had has said the same thing in the same words. Work, family, health and emergencies outrank any operation. Tell your element leader and that is the end of it. Nobody is punished for having a life.
Discipline is for repair
Problems are handled privately and in person first, with the aim of keeping the member rather than making an example. Accountability runs in both directions, and owning a call costs a leader nothing here.
Recognition is routine
Awards and promotions are recommended by the people you serve with and presented monthly in formation. There is a decoration whose only criterion is having stayed a year, because staying counts.
There's a place
for you here.
Recruitment is open. No experience is required and no tryout is involved. You will be assigned a navigator, taught what you need, and put in an element.
